Dr. Zhigang He is Professor of Neurology and Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School and also the Director of the Boston Children’s Hospital Viral Core. Dr. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto and was a postdoctoral fellow with Marc Tessier-Lavigne at the University of California, San Francisco. He is a recipient of the Reeve-Irvine Research Medal (2019), Visionary Award of the Greenberg END Blindness 2020, and a member of National Academy of Medicine (2021).
